Flat Stanley rides a reindeer

Woah, this was a LONG day. I was squished into an airplane seat, and poor Flat Stanley was squished into my bag. Good thing we had a layover in London, England for three hours. While we were there, Flat Stanley got to meet Paddington Bear.

And he got to see a double decker bus. Well it was a toy, but he still got to see it.

After waiting for a few hours in Heathrow airport, Flat Stanley and I got on another plane and headed to Helsinki, Finland. This was the first time that Flat Stanley ever got to see snow. He asked, "Roro, can I get some flat gloves and a flat hat and a flat coat. It's cold in the snow."

We'll have to work on that. But Flat Stanley was quite the trouper and made it through the rest of the day. He did spot a post office and said, "Hey, Roro. You can put me back in my envelope and send me to another country!"

I said, "Oh no, Flat Stanley. Stick with me and you can travel by airplane, like we did today. Or by train, like at this train station..."

Then I said, "Or you could even travel on a boat, like this one..."

Flat Stanley thought about it for a while. Then he said, "I think you're right, Roro. I don't need to travel by the mail when I can travel on a reindeer!!!"

Uh oh. I think Flat Stanley is off on an adventure on a reindeer. Hopefully he'll be back before I have to leave on the next leg of my trip.
